On the morning of May 28, 2025, a total of 64 boxes, part of a larger consignment of 80. filled with essential medical drugs and supplies arrived at SiPHA headquarters, generously donated by Direct Relief International.

This delivery represented the second major wave of support from Direct Relief this year. The first lot had arrived in February, laying the foundation for what has now become a vital partnership. In addition to these large shipments, Direct Relief has also provided smaller but critical donations, including lifesaving Alteplase medicines used in emergency stroke treatment.

The boxes were received by key figures from SiPHA’s leadership: Board Chairman, Deputy Chairman, CEO Dr. Kassi Ken, and Board Member Mrs. Pauline Maua. With a feeling of gratitude and hope, Dr. Ken formally acknowledged the donation on behalf of the Board and Management, expressing heartfelt thanks to Direct Relief International for their continued generosity and commitment to improving health outcomes in Simbu.
