On October 15, 2025 in Port Moresby The Simbu Provincial Government delivered a successful and well-received presentation to the Special Parliamentary Committee Inquiry on Children and Youth at Parliament House.

The representation, held from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, covered key inputs and perspectives from the Simbu Province regarding challenges and initiatives related to its children and youth population.

Feedback on the presentation was overwhelmingly positive, with observers noting the high quality and thoroughness of the submission. The session concluded successfully, which senior provincial leaders view as a critical indicator of effective governance.

Following the event, internal reports suggested the strong outcome was a direct result of “strong leadership at the Provincial level,” which allowed for cohesive and impactful input to be delivered to the national inquiry.
