As of today Friday 17th July 2026, The Simbu Provincial Health Authority (SiPHA) formally presented its 2026 Second Quarter Report to national health and administrative leaders, reinforcing its commitment to accountability and compliance.

The report, endorsed by Governor Hon. Noah Kool, MP, was officially handed over to Health Secretary Mr. Pascoe Kase, the Strategic Policy Division of the National Department of Health (NDOH), and the Department of Personnel Management (DPM).

The presentation was conducted in line with Section 8 of the Provincial Health Authority (Amendment) Act 2023, which requires timely reporting to national oversight bodies. It also fulfills Key Priority Area 2 (KPA 2) of SiPHA’s Corporate Plan 2025–2027, emphasizing transparency, governance, and effective policy alignment.

During the presentation, Governor Kool highlighted the importance of provincial health authorities maintaining strong reporting standards to ensure confidence in service delivery. The Health Secretary and officials from NDOH and DPM acknowledged SiPHA’s compliance as a positive step toward strengthening provincial health systems.
